ELIZABETH A. HOGGE "BETTY" "NANNY" GRIFFITH, IN Elizabeth "Betty" A. Hogge "Nanny" age 81 of Griffith, IN passed away peacefully on December 17, 2014, surrounded by her family. Betty is survived by three children: Connie (Dean) Haney, Joe (Judy) Hogge, Judy (Kurt) Hoopingarner; six grandchildren: Kristina, Melissa, Jayce, Jeremy, T.J., Jacob; five great-grandchildren: Taylor, Hayley, Ryan, Karlie, Little Jeremy; two sisters: Beck(David), and Kay; one aunt, Wanda all three from Alabama. Betty loved spending all of her time with her family, grandkids, and especially spending time and laughing with her great grandkids whom she loved to see every single day. She also loved to play Bingo and watch her favorite crazy T.V. shows like Maury and Jerry Springer. She was always a very spunky, strong woman. We are all very fortunate to have had her in our lives for so long. She lived for us. We all have another guardian Angel now. Betty a devoted wife, mother, and Nanny was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, James "Jim" Hogge "Poppy", her parents and several brothers and sisters and two grandchildren. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was known by everyone as Nanny. Private family services will be held. Cremation to follow.
