She is survived by son, Patrick (Julie) Mahoney; son, Brian (Janice) Mahoney; daughter, Denise (Michael) Remec and son, Kevin Mahoney; grandchildren: Mac Mahoney, Kelli (Asa) Stone, Ashley Mahoney, Megan Remec, Bailey Remec and Shannon Mahoney; great-grandchildren: Gage and Aydian Stone; faithful companions: Cricket and Bella. Preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Mahoney; sister and good friend, Marge Downes; and sister-in-law and good friend, Birdie Mahoney. Private services were held at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. She was a beloved grandmother and friend. The family requests memorial donations be sent to Hospice of the Calumet Area.
