KELLY, Edna L.M. (nee Reid) May 26, 1927 - January 6, 2008 Our beloved mother peacefully passed away at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital at the age of 80 years. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her two daughters, Cheryl (William Nelson) of Calgary, Alberta and Brenda (Garry Emmerson) and son, Gerald Kelly of Ottawa. She was a cherished grandmother of Matthew Blais, Kelly Emmerson and Jared Kelly and a dear sister of Myrna Reid of Windsor, Ontario and the late Jim Reid (Jean) of Hamilton, Ontario. She was predeceased by her former husband, Keith Kelly. Our mother was also a good friend to many of the residents and staff at the Redwood Retirement Residence. At our mother's request, there will not be a wake. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating her life in the chapel at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, our mother would appreciate donations to the Canadian Lung Association. Our heartfelt thanks are extended to all the wonderful and compassionate staff on the Intensive Care Unit for their outstanding care and support.
