SMITH, Mrs. Eddie Mae Carr aresident of Montgomery, ALdeparted this life Friday, June25, 2010. A celebration of lifeservices honoring the life ofMrs. Smith will be held Friday,July 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM fromClinton Chapel A.M.E. ZionChurch, 4560 Narrow LaneRoad, Montgomery, AL withPastor Leonard E. Cammack,officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemeterywith Ross-Clayton FuneralHome, Inc., directing. Mrs.Smith will lie in repose at thechurch one hour prior to thefuneral services. Mrs. Smith,who was to celebrate her90th birthday on July 4, 2010,was known for her love offamily, friends and neighbors.She was an avid reader andbaseball fan who enjoyedsolving crossword puzzles.Mrs. Smith retained her quickwit and her ability to recitepoems until she peacefullyleft this earth while sleeping.Praise be to God!
