Obituary of Doris-M. Boucher


STILLWATER Doris M. Boucher, 84, of County Route 70, Stillwater, died Thursday evening July 10, 2003 at the Saratoga Hospital long term care. Born June 2, 1919, in Troy, N.Y., daughter of the late Millard and Helen Tracey Fuller. She was the widow of Emory O. Boucher who died in 2001. She was a housewife and mother. A well known waitress and retail clerk, and had worked for a longtime at the former Old Homestead Inn on Saratoga Lake. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church in Stillwater. Mrs. Boucher was a member of TILT (Tuesday Idle Leisure Time) Volunteer for the Saratoga Hospital Guild, a member of the Stillwater Historical Society, Stillwater Grange, a Civil Defense volunteer and a member of the Rosary Society of the church. Survivors include five sons, Emory J. (Karin) Boucher of El Cajon, Calif, Michael O. (Flo) of Bridgewater, N.J., Edward F. (Annemarie) of Mechanicville, Thomas C. (JoAanne) of Stillwater and Timothy F. (Joanne) of Bradenton, Fla.; one daughter, Patricia (Keith) Flike of Stillwater; one sister, Margaret Dugan of Mechanicville; and two sisters-in-law, Mae Fisher and Adeline Montgomery. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her latest five great-grandchildren have all been born in the last eight months. Predeceased by a brother, Joseph Fuller. A Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 14, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Peter's Church, Stillwater with the Reverend William Turnbull, pastor officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Homes, Inc., 121 North Hudson Avenue, Stillwater, Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Stillwater, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saratoga Hospital Nursing Home Patient Activities Fund, 211 Church Street, Saratoga Springs 12186, in her memory.
