GIBEAULT, Denise (nee Lalonde)November 18, 1927 - July 8, 2013It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Elise Gibeault on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the age of 85.Denise was a much beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and a generous and loyal friend to many. She dedicated her life to her family and was active in church, CWL, and community affairs.She is survived by her children, Gerry (Gail), Lorraine Turchansky (Ray), Paul (Dianne), Claude, Colin Nicols, and Diane Boleska; five grandchildren, Zak, Jay, Amy, Laaryssa, and Angel, as well as her sister Jeannine and many nieces and nephews. Denise was predeceased by her husband Norm in 1995 and son Marc in 1988, her brothers Leon, Rene and Ben, and sister Claire. Also sharing our loss is Diana Zielasko, who cared so tenderly for Denise as her personal companion during her last years. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Ghani and the care staff at University Hospital Unit 54D, as well as the staff at Capital Care Grandview, Denise's home since 2009.Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, at 7:00 p.m. at Connelly - McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 13131 - 86 Street, Edmonton, on Thursday, July 11, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
