WHITNEY David Whitney died June 13 in Doylestown, Pa., at age 77. He graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard College and the University of Penn-sylvania's Wharton School, and worked for 50 years in the pharmaceutical industry and as a small business owner. David is survived by his wife, Penelope, his former wife, Jean Whitney of Southport, CT, their four children and five grandchildren.
