KIRBY, David 58, of St. Petersburg, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 6, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; 2 sons, Kirk and Nathan Kirby; his parents, Betty and Walter Kirby; 1 sister, Judy (Bruce) Blackburn, all of St. Petersburg; and a niece and nephew, Stacey and Shawn. He was predeceased by Marilyn Lam and Cynthia Kirby, both from Cystic Fibrosis. He then lobbied for state assistance for Cystic Fibrosis patients and was successful in getting $100,000.00 placed into the state budget.
