CRAIG FRANKLIN HARRIS Vero Beach, Florida Craig Franklin Harris, 56, died January 27, 2012 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida of heart related issues. Mr. Harris was born in Ft. Pierce on December 4, 1955. He served 20 years in the United States Navy Submarine Service, retiring as a Commander. After retiring he worked with his father at Harcon Corp., Ft. Pierce, FL and was on the Basil King Foundation as Executive Director. He graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School, Class of '73, went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida. Survivors include his father, Franklin A. Harris of Ft. Pierce, FL; siblings, Scott W. Harris of Ft. Pierce, FL, Stephanie (Dan) DeIulio of Ft. Pierce, FL, Glenn J. Harris of Reston, VA, and Keith J. Harris of West Palm Beach, FL; and nieces & nephews including Alex and Laura of Fort Pierce. Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981 www.
