Clement Julian "Al" Gibeault, 80, passed away at home on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013. Funeral will be offered at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, in the Community United Methodist Church, Chestnut Street, Roselle Park, N.J. Cemetery is private. Born in Wauregan, Conn., Clem grew up in Jewett City, Conn., and resided in Roselle Park since 1972. He joined the Air Force during the Korean War and was employed by the National Security Agency as a cryptanalyst. He then attended the University of Connecticut, receiving his bachelor's in economics. He retired in 1997 after almost 30 years at Kemper Insurance. Clem was a member and president of the Roselle Park Board of Education for six years. After his retirement, he was a paraprofessional in the Roselle Park school district, working at Aldene, Robert Gordon, and the Middle School. He was also an active member of the Community United Methodist Church, the choir, and was recently inducted into the Orchid Club. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Stella, and his older brothers, Arthur and Hector Gibeault. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Janice; son, Paul and his wife, Christine; daughter, Aimee Daly and her husband, Evan; four grandchildren, Julian, Jeffrey, Ella, and Lucy, and sisters, Louise Gingras and Beatrice Denomme.
