GILBERT, Mr. Claire Philip Age 79, of Huntingburg, IN, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at St. Mary's Warrick Co. Hospital in Boonville, IN. He was born on October 28, 1924 at Windsor, Ontario to Charles Edmund and Maize Gilbert. He was a retired short order cook and served in the Canadian Army during WWII. He is survived by his son Dr. Phil Gilbert and his wife Cathy, Santa Claus, IN.; brothers Harry and Tom Gilbert, Canada, Doug Gilbert, Treasure Island, FLA, sisters Eleanor, Canada, and Rose Marie, Michigan. Grandchildren Mrs. Stephanie Jerstad, Newburg, IN., Mrs. Leigh Zarate, Atlanta, GA, Tad Allen, Huntingburg, IN, Kelly Allen, Huntingburg, IN, Chad Allen, Kirksville, MO, 9 great grandchildren. Graveside services for Mr. Claire Philip Gilbert will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the Hanson Cemetery near Bedford, IN. There will be no public visitation.
