Funeral services for Charlie Lewis Williams, 56, "Ba Bro", will be Today at 1 p.m. at Smith Metropolitan AME Zion Church with the Rev. Jeffrey C. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Gardens. Mr. Williams' remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Anniston Funeral Services in charge. Charlie was educated in the Anniston School System after graduation he served in the U.S. Army. Charlie was a member of Smith Metropolitan AME Zion Church. He was a counselor at the Salvation Army, founder of The Right Place Substance Abuse Center. Charlie passed on December 27, 2012 at RMC. Survivors include his mother, Victoria Williams, of Anniston; siblings, Veronica (Rick) Battle, Kileen, of Texas, Mary Joyce, Pamela, Donna Mitchell, Thomas (Brenda) and Victor Williams, all of Anniston, Robert Williams, of Tallahassee, Fla., Darryl Williams, of Jacksonville, Fla.; special friends, Belinda Everett, Gail and Clay Wilson and a host of other relatives and friends.
