DYCK, Catherine, Peacefully at home, with family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer, in her 67th year, on Tuesday, January 27, 2004. Beloved wife of Robert. Loving mother of Jim and his wife Patti, Stephen of Toronto and Paul of Vanc ouver. Cherished "Gran" of Julia and Alison. Dear sister of Michael (Jean) Owens of Scotland. Predeceased by her brother James Owens of Scotland. Catherine was a volunteer of the Out of the Cold Program and the daily Breakfast Program. Also a dedicat ed R.N. and member of the Sewing Group. Catherine always enjoyed the wonders of nature on her daily walks. Catherine is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, until Friday at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in S t. Alfred's Church at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the St. Catharines Hote l Dieu Oncology Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
