JONES, Catherine Mary (Mae) Passed away peacefully in the Bethany Care Centre - Airdrie on August 8, 2008, at the age of 88 years. Mae will be lovingly remembered by her children: Glenda (Jerry) Berreth, Nadine (Brian) Waterman, Carol Yamada, Terry (Calvin) Schmitz, Brad (Kathleen), Randy (Diane), Shannon (Rui) Melo, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 1977 and four brothers. Mae was born on September 8, 1919 in Lethbridge and was raised in the area. She married Leonard in 1942 and raised their seven children on the family farm in the Lethbridge area. In 1966 they moved to Calgary and for the last few years, Mae resided in Airdrie. Mae enjoyed crafts, word search puzzles, sewing, quilting, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. If so desired, a memorial tribute may be made in Mae's name directly to the Alzheimer's Society of Calgary (No. 201, 222 - 58 Avenue S.W.
