McKENNA Catherine M. (nee Walsh) of Bloomfield on Friday, May 21, 2010, she was 93 years old. Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. McKenna. Loving mother of Joseph M. Jr. and his wife Paulette McKenna of Nazareth, PA, Mary Ann and her husband George Gerney of Oakland, Helen and her late husband James Flynn of Bloomfield and Catherine and her husband Robert Alexander of Oakland. Dear grandmother of Joseph M. McKenna III, Melissa Wardlow, Eric Gerney, Abigal and Michael Alexander. Also survived by her great grandchildren, Corey, Rachel and Hope. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Bernard, Helen, Walter, Charles, John and Tom. Mrs. McKenna was a devoted mother and grandmother and accomplished seamstress, she handmade all three daughters wedding gowns. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.
