COX, BYRON FREDERICK - The death of Byron Frederick Cox of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Alice E. (Silliphant) Cox, occurred on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Fairvale, NB a son of the late Samuel and Maud Cox he was employed as a salesman for Eastern Bakeries. Survived by two sons, Allan of Buffalo, NY and Burton (Dorothy) of Nauwigewauk, NB; daughter-in-law, Rita Cox of Lepreau, NB; eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife and parents; a son, Douglas; three brothers, Leonard, Hazen and Kenneth; three sisters, Stella, Madeline and Rheta; two grandsons, Lloyd and Terrance "Terry". Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with Memorial Service being held from Brenan's Chapel on Friday, January 6 at 11 am.
