Mr. Bobby Williams, 79, of Sugar Hill, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Williams, Sugar Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Trellis and Charles Reed, Detroit, Mich.; sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Randi Williams, Lawrenceville, and Terry Williams, Long Beach, Calif.; grandchildren, Caitlin and Mario Rodreguez, Melissa Reed, Evan Reed, Ansley Reed, Jack Reed, Daniel and Olivia Williams, Tyler Williams and Erin Whitney; one great-grandson, Nathan Rodreguez; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie Harrison, Buford, Farris and Bonnie Orr, Sugar Hill, and Judy and Charles Tatum, Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Jenny Williams Jr., Buford, and Doug and Mary Helen Williams, Buford; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Williams was born on Sept. 24, 1931, in Buford. He was a Korean War Veteran in the U.S. Army and graduated from Flowery branch High School. Mr. Williams retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville after 30 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W Local 10. and a member of West Buford Baptist Church. He was well known for his picnic tables, swings and wood working skills throughout North Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at 3:30 p.m. at the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur Southerland officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m. Arrangements by: Junior E.
