Funeral services for Mr. Bobby J. Williams, 77, Gadsden, who died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011 will be held graveside on Wednesday at noon at New Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Jay Daugherty will officiate. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services. Mr. Williams was a self-employed drywall contractor for all of his adult life. He raised and trained Tennessee walking horses up until the time of his illness. He was a lifetime member of the Sand Mountain Saddle Club. He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Blanche Williams; and brothers, Olen, Joe and Robert; sisters, Helen, Ellen and Ruby. He is survived by son, Gary (Lynn) Williams; daughter, Bobbi (Matt) W. Olson; grandchildren, Carrie (Paul) Procter, Brooke (Jim) Tollison, Lauren (J.D.) Holt, Micah Olson and Caraline Olsen; brother, Bill; sisters, Christine Smith, Carolyn (Clyde) Reynolds, Linda (Tommy) Shields, Wayne Adams; great-grandchildren, Maverick, Malia, Mason Procter, Jay and Claire Tollison and John Dawson Holt; very special friend, Pauline Allen.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday.
