Betty Lee Smith, age 78, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010. She was born February 18, 1932, in Springfield, Mo., to Wallace and Maude Smith. She enjoyed doing crafts and playing in the band at Springfield Rehabilitation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Guy and Maude Irene Smith Maupin. She is survived by son, Rick D. Smith and wife Vina, Springfield, Mo.; one grandson, Marvin Edward Smith, of Buffalo; sister, Doris Hubble, of Rogersville; and one niece and three nephews. Graveside services are at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Memorial service will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 5, 2010. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, Mo.
