Betty Hood <br/> CHESNEE, SC --> Betty Hood CHESNEE, SC-- Betty Faye Hood, 75, of Chesnee received her angel wings on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at her home. She was the widow of Raleigh Hood. Mrs. Hood was a native of Mayo and a daughter of the late Roy Allen and Julia Bullman Lindsey. She was retired from textiles and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include sons: Todd Hood of Chesnee, Scott Hood of Jonesville, and Chad Wright of Cowpens; daughter: Donna Stephens of Cowpens; brother: Roy Lindsey of Myrtle Beach; sisters: Jean Spearman, Carolyn Moore, and Vernie Owensby of Chesnee, Carol Roddy of Cowpens; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a special son: Roger Harvey. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Glenn Rusher. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
