Obituary of Bertha Baker-Harrelson


Donald Duck CitrusWINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Bertha Baker-Harrelson of Winter Haven died of heart failure Saturday (March 27, 2004) at University Community Hospital in Tampa. She was 85.Born in Morrilton, Ark., on Jan. 17, 1919, she came to Winter Haven from Arkansas 50 years ago. She was a citrus sectionizer for Donald Duck. She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church.Mrs. Baker-Harrelson is survived by her sons, Burl Baker, Earl Jackson, both of Winter Haven; daughter, Shirley Baker, Lakeland; sister, Lillian Green, Bisbee, Ariz.; brothers, Ovill Faulkner, Osceola, Ark., Robert Faulkner, Coopersville, Mich., Raymond Faulkner, England, Ark.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, Auburndale.
