Berkley James "BJ" Davis, 97, died Dec. 5, 2006, at Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart. He was born in Axton, Va., and lived in Port St. Lucie for 36 years, coming from Washington, D.C. Before retirement, he was a junior executive at Sears. He was a member of United Methodist Church, Port St. Lucie. Survivors include his daughter, Berkeley Nixon of Miami; brothers, Lewis Davis of Martinsville, Va., and Edward Davis of Maryland; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottye Davis. SERVICES: A serevice will be 11:30 a.m. Dec. 7 at Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
