Barbara N. (Grizzard) Robinson, 72, of Minoa, died peacefully in her home on Friday, October 3, 2014. She was born December 29, 1941 in Atlanta, GA to William and Edna Grizzard. She was a graduate of Baker High School and attended the Columbus School of Nursing. She retired from JC Penney's after 27 years of employment. Barbara was a well-loved wife, mother and friend. She always had a smile on her face and kind word for anyone lucky enough to find themselves in her company. An active member of the CNY Corvair Club, she and her husband enjoyed travelling around the state in their classic car. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David I.; daughters, Alisa K. (Charles) Lupia of Syracuse and Cheryl A. (Michael) Rendino of East Syracuse; grandson, Andrew S. Robinson; four brothers; two sisters; and 11 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19 at 1 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.
