FORSYTHE, Barbara Ann (nee Robinson). After a long, brave and valiant struggle she succumbed to breast cancer on March 10, 2005. Born in New York, England on October 15, 1945. Beloved wife of Richard Forsythe, cherished mother of Michelle and Paul (Cynthia Svoronos), sister to Gordon, Peter and Michael Robinson, aunt to Amy (Luis Alburez), great-aunt to Jessica and Sabrina and good friend to many others. Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday March 19 at the Mozart Desforges and Sons Funeral Home, 232 Hamford Street, Lachute, Quebec, 450-562-3636. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Lachute United Church with reception to follow at the Legion Hall in Brownsburg. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Weekend to End Breast Cancer by sponsoring either Michelle Forsythe or Cynthia Svoronos at www.endcancer.ca. Proceeds from the 60 km walk go to the Jewish General Hospital whose wonderful staff provided tremendous support and care to Barbara and family for the past 18 years.
