Williams, Arlene E.May 19, 1915 - July 12, 2013Arlene E. Williams, 98, of Bradenton, Fl entered into eternal peace on July 12, 2013.She was born May 19, 1915 in Carroll, NE to Eleanor and Merle Roe, raised and educated in the Carroll Schools and graduated from Wayne State Teachers College. She married Dayle Williams on July 9, 1938. She and her husband moved to Bradenton, FL from Naperville, IL in 1974 after thirty years of teaching.Arlene was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, her parents, and two sisters, Ardath and Marjorie.Survivors include two sons: Haven (Judith) of Sarasota, FL and Jerald (Valerie) of Ft. Worth, TX; four granddaughters, Lecia (Keith) Holley, Jennifer (Kevin) Gleason, Heather (Ted) Lindsley and Michelle (Aaron) Greene. She was also the proud great grandmother of eight: Karlin, Ethan and Nolan Holley, Drew, Zach and Bret Gleason, Cade and Reese Greene all of whom fondly called her "Mimi".A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ohio with inurnment to take place in Wayne, NE.Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, C/O Sahib Temple, 600 N.
