AKERLEY, ANNIE ELIZABETH - Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Akerley of Kiwanis Nursing Home formerly of Sunnyside Dr, Sussex, NB passed away at her residence on February 3, 2005 at the age of 89. Annie was the daughter of the late Samuel and Miriam (Taylor) Stewart and the beloved wife of the late Ira Akerley who passed away in 2001. Annie is survived by two sisters-in-law; Pauline Stewart of Ottawa, Thelma Stewart of Saint John, as well as several nieces and nephews. Annie was last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her sisters Flora Beach, Vivian Beach, Evelina Keith and by seven brothers; Arnold, Arthur, Percy, Eldon, William, Elmer and Charles Stewart. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Saturday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Sunday, February 06, 2005 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place in Midland Cemetery in the spring. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
