Annette Rose (Picard) Veilleux, 92, died on Dec. 9, 2010, in Aurora, Colo. She was born in Ashland, Maine, and spent her adult life in Waterville, Maine; Downey, Calif.; and Aurora. Only one of nine siblings, Evelyn (Picard) Nadeau, of Winslow, Maine, remains. She has a daughter, Donna (Veilleux) Koeppel, of Aurora; and, a son, David Veilleux, of Stillwater, Minn.; along with their spouses, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a positive example to all in the faith community. She was devoted to her late husband of 44 years, Patrick Veilleux. The funeral mass was held Dec. 14 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at the National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.Donations may be made to Denver Catholic Charities.
