Obituary of Anne M. Longley


Anne M. (OConnor) Longley a lifelong resident of Needham died February 13, 2010. Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen (Hart) OConnor. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry W. Longley who was a former Needham Police Officer. Mother of Anne Miller and her husband John of Clearwater, FL., Henry W. Longley Jr. and his wife Sharon of Turner Falls, Pamala Scrima and her husband James of Buzzards Bay, Mark E. Longley and his wife Patty of Plymouth, Martha Hill and her husband TJ of Woodbridge, VA., Mary E. Ferzacca and her husband John of Newton, John J. Longley and his wife Julie of Needham, Patrick H. Longley and his wife Cathy of Foxboro, and the late Peter P. Longley. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She also leaves several loving nieces and nephews. She was a retired employee of the Needham School Dept. Longtime member of St. Joseph Guild and Eucharistic Minister. Member of Catholic Daughters of America. She attended grammar school in County Cork, Ireland. Annes Funeral Mass will be held today Thursday Feb. 18th at St. Joseph Church, Needham at 10AM. Interment will be held at St. Marys Cemetery, Needham. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Annes memory to St. Joseph Church 1382 Highland Ave. Needham, MA 02492.
