ADAMS, ANN "GRAGGS" (BELL), 79, passed away March 17, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family whom she loved unconditionally. Preceding her in death is her husband, Jack Adams; two sons, David and Charles; two brothers and four sisters. Ann grew up on a farm in Cox's Creek, KY with eight brothers and sisters. She raised five sons, and drove a school bus for 10 years. She was loved by many for her sweet disposition and clever wit. She always had time for her family and friends. She was a founding member of St. Bernard Church and a dedicated volunteer for 17 years at Fern Creek/Highview Adult Day Center. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Surviving her are four sons and daughter-in-"loves," John (Teri), Jim (Susan), Joe (Wendy) and Tom (Georgette); four grandsons, Jeff (Angie), Scott (Stephanie), Jacob and Jeremy; three granddaughters, Andrea, Christy and Star; a new grandchild expected in June; two sisters, Betsey Bell and Mary Sorrell; sister-in-law, Marie Bell; two brothers-in-law, Jim Bill (Barbara) and Ike (Charlotte); many loving nieces and nephews, especially Betty Jean Hall; and the old and dear friends of the St. Bernard Morning Mass Crew. Her funeral Mass will be held Monday, 10 a.m., celebrated at St. Bernard Church, 7500 Tangelo Dr., with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Fairfield, KY. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Rd. The Adams family would like to thank her faith community for all the love, prayer and support and special gratitude to the Hosparus Team who helped us through our difficult time.
