Beloved husband of Maureen (37years). Loving father of Patrick (Christina) , Matthew (Saira) and Michelle (Jon). Cherished grandfather of Kyle and Emily. Dear brother of Maureen Pizzo (Frank), Kathleen Jacques (Jeff), Wendy Windeler (John), Mary-Lou Esposito (Lou), Rita Amott and Dick Amott (Jodi). Predeceased by parents, John James Amott, Jr. and Katherine (McCourt). Brothers Tom (Ann) and William. Also surived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial with full police honors (LAPD) will be held on Friday, February 20, at St. Jude's RC Church, 32032 W. Lindero Canyon Rd, Westlake Village, CA 91361. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation in his memory to Knights of Columbus Chapter 8072 c/o St. Jude's Church.
