HODGE, Alice Rebecca (nee Gilbert) Peacefully at the Prescott-Russell Residence in Hawkesbury, Ontario on Sunday November 8, 2009 Alice Hodge formerly of Lachine, Quebec in her ninety-ninth year. Predeceased by her husband Alfred William Hodge in 1973. Loving mother of Ronald (Marie) of Calgary, Stanley (Joanne) of Markham and Shirley (William Spekkens) of Chute-a-Blondeau, Ontario. Dear grandmother of Cynthia, Robert, Timothy, Jennifer, Rebecca and Peter. Great-grandmother of Isabella. Fondly remembered by her sister Eva McCartin, her brother-in-law George Wishart and her many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the staff at the Prescott- Russell Residence for their compassionate care. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street (corner of Stanley Ave.) Vankleek Hill on Thursday November 12, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2p.m. at the Knox Presbyterian Church, 29 High Street, Vankleek Hill. In memoriam donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
