Alice M. Butler, 88, of New Britain, died June 27, 2007. She was born in New Britain, a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Canning) Butler. She attended local schools and graduated from New Britain Senior High School. She retired from Rowland Products, in Berlin, where she was a bookkeeper. She also worked for Landers, Frary & Clark, in New Britain. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. She is survived by a sister, Rita Lopez and her husband, Albert, of Tacoma, Wash.; a nephew, Daniel T. Butler and his wife, Sandra, of Plainville; a niece, Judith E. Petrin and her husband, Jerry, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. in Tacoma. Wash. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Butler. A Mass was celebrated July 2 at St. Joseph Church, New Britain. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery. The Kenney-Luddy Funeral Home, New Britain, was in charge of arrangements.
