ANDERSON _ ALEXANDER THOMAS DUFF Goodbye, to my very special love. Tommy passed away suddenly on October 30, 2006 at the age of 68 after a short bout with cancer. He joins his mother and father (Rose Ann and James Reid); brothers, Joseph, George and Jerry; sisters, Isabel, Annie and Betty; and his stepson, Johnny. Born at New Westminster on June 28, 1938, Tommy had spent the last seven years residing in Kelowna, BC, where he owned and operated a commercial steel erection business. He leaves to mourn Margie, his loving wife; his three children from a previous marriage, Michelle, Karen and Tammy; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Tommy was a wonderful role model and friend to Margie's three sons and their wives - Michael and Brandi, David and Naomi, and Christopher and Naomi. "Grumps" was a wonderful grandfather to Melissa, Sara, Andrew and Tyler. He was deeply loved and is greatly missed. Tommy is also survived by his two brothers, Peter and Jim; five sisters, Helen, Rosemary, Jeanette, Patricia, and Frances; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Tommy's life will be held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, 440 10th Street, SW, Salmon Arm, BC on November 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m., with Padre Norm Russell presiding. Tributes will be shared by family and friends. Cremation with interment to follow at a later date in Malakwa Cemetery. Email condolences may be sent to sympathy@bowersfuneralservice.com
