Willie Mae Smith Mulberry - Mrs. Willie Mae Smith, 97, died of heart failure at Tandem Health Care, Sun. (Nov. 5, 2006). Mrs. Smith was born in Sylvania, GA. on Oct. 31, 1909. She moved to Mulberry, FL. from Sylvania 51 years ago. She was a food service tech for the Polk County School Board. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Mulberry. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. "Buck" Smith, her children, Donald Smith, Ed Smith, & Virginia Coleman. She is survived by daughters, Mary Kane, Willow Oak, Betty Robinson, Willow Oak, Lelia Register, Riverview, Shirley Arrington, Sylvania, GA., Diana Hughes, Mulberry, Martha Mullis, Lakeland, FL.; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tues. Nov. 7, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Seigler Funeral Home, Hwy. 60E, Mulberry. Funeral services will be Wed. Nov. 8, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Seigler Funeral Home.
