Jefferson - William Delean Strickland, 66, of B. Whitfield Road, died Saturday, August 21, 2004. Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Galilee Christian Church. The burial will follow in Crooked Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Free Strickland; four daughters, Karen Dill, Jefferson; Rosie Cash, Statham; Diane Mendez, Athens; and Mickey Miller, Jefferson; a son, Kendall Strickland, Jefferson; three sisters, Faye Swain, Jefferson; Peggy Usry, Lawrenceville; and Patricia Warren, Charleston, S.C.; four brothers, Donald Strickland, Dwight Strickland, and David Strickland, all of Jefferson; and Daniel Strickland, Athens; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
