Wayne Williams Utica Wayne Williams, 81, of Utica, died on December 21, 2009, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare. He was born on March 17, 1928. He married Sarah Shaddon on February 22, 1969. He was of the Protestant faith and worked for the City of Utica at one time. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Williams, of Utica; children, Wayne Williams, Jr., of Tupper Lake, and Hank Williams, of Little Falls; grandchildren, David, Dewayne and Ray Denis, Beverly and Ronnie Omes, Justin and Jennifer Wiggins, Maryannie and Steven, all of Utica; sister, Emma Johnson, of Jamestown, NY; brother-in-law and sister-law, Robert and Beatrice Shaddon; and friends, Mary Detraglia and Mae Parker, all of Utica. In addition, he is survived by good family friend and caregiver, Holly Hovey. The funeral will be on Monday (today) at 3:00 at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 1123 Court at York Sts., Utica. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be on Monday from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the funeral.
