ObituaryVictoria Williams, 59, a Cape Coral resident since 1985, formerly of Clovis, New Mexico, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004. She was born September 1, 1944 in Hammond, Indiana, to the late Ned and Anna Mae York. Mrs. Williams was a Christian school teacher and more recently taught drama with Nabbie Productions in Cape Coral, as well as working as a sitter at Cape Coral Hospital for the last two years. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Cape Coral where she sang on The Praise Team. She had long been active in the arts with the Gulf Coast Opera and Small Time Players as well as Nabbie Productions. Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Douglas Williams; a daughter, Laurie Morris and her husband Jeff; a son, Matthew Williams, as well as two grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Morris. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2004 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Fuller Funeral Home-Cremation Service, 1910 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, 574-3434. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be in the form of a donation to the Cultural Park Theatre-=Victoria Williams Scholarship Fund.
