Mrs. Vera Mae Armstrong, 77, of Wewahitchka, Fla., passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008, at her home. Mrs Armstrong was a lifelong resident of Wewahitchka, a homemaker, and a member of Kinard Community Holiness Church. Survivors include her children, Gene Armstrong and wife, Joyce, of Marianna, Fla., William Armstrong and Martha Wages, both of Wewahitchka, Tommy Armstrong of Blountstown, Fla., Edward Causey, Edison Tiger Causey and wife, Peggy, Sharlotte Pickron and husband, Jimmer Lee, Della Dickens and Edgar Causey; a stepdaughter, Reba Chance; a stepson, Johnny Armstrong, all of Wewahitchka; 36 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; five brothers; and seven sisters. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. CST today, March 3, 2008, at the Kinard Community Holiness Church, conducted by the Rev. Sam Kent.
