December 15, 2008 Ruth C. Knox, 82, a longtime resident of Nedrow, passed away peacefully Monday surrounded by her loving family. She retired from the Royal Insurance Co. and previously along with her late husband John S. Knox, operated the Knox Grocery in Nedrow. Ruth spent her winters in Vero Beach, FL. Surviving are her children, Larry Knox of New Wood-stock, John "Jack" (Maryanne) Knox of Jordan, James Knox of Pompey, Terry Farrell of Nedrow, Jennifer (Gary) Dicob of Nedrow; her grandchildren who she loved spending time with, Colleen, Larissa, John and Maggie Knox, Karen Naughton, Amy Pulver, Nicole Belge, Katey Montreal, Sonji Morgan, Joseph, Meghan and Morgan Dicob; 15 great-grand-children; her beloved friend, Barbara Olsen; and her daughter-in-law, Patricia Knox of Onondaga Hill. Services: 9 a.m. Friday in St. James Church. Interment: Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W.
