Patricia A. Hurley, September 20, 1941 | April 24, 2014. Patricia Pat Hurley of San Francisco, CA, daughter of the late Richard R. and Kathleen F. (Lawler) Hurley of Marblehead passed away peacefully at home, with family and friends at her side, on Thursday April 24, 2014, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born and raised in Marblehead, Massachusetts, Pat was a 1959 graduate of Marblehead High School and a 1963 graduate of Merrimack College. For forty years Pat owned and operated Today Personnel Services in San Francisco and she was active in many of the cultural aspects of her adopted city. Pat's adventures led to the far corners of the world but she especially looked forward to her trips home to her beloved Marblehead to visit her family and many close friends. As a friend of Pats said, She loved San Francisco but always kept one foot in Marblehead. She leaves many old and dear friends and her close-knit family: brother Richard Hurley and his wife Priscilla of Dennisport, MA, sister Kathleen Simonson and her husband Don of Piedmont, CA, sister Barbara Hurley of Greenville, SC, brother Stephen Hurley and his wife Diane of Peabody, MA. Pat also leaves four nieces, three nephews, 3 great nephews and several cousins, all of whom were very dear to her heart. Memorial services are planned for later this summer on both coasts.
