Maureen (Mulrey) OBrien, 68 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at the Royal Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Braintree. She was born in Boston and graduated from Saint Augustines High School in South Boston. She had resided in Braintree for more than thirty-five years. Maureen had been a Traffic Supervisor for the City of Boston for many years retiring several years ago. She is survived by her devoted son, James Thomas Gagnon of Braintree and by her brother Paul F. Murphy of Braintree and her sister Kathleen Noyes of RI. She leaves her nephews and niece, David Noyes, Paul Murphy, Stephen Murphy and Julie Noyes. Visiting hours were Friday, Aug. 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St., Braintree. A Catholic Prayer service was held at the funeral home at noon Friday with The Reverend Father James McCarthy of Saint Thomas More Parish officiating.
