Mary E. Nagle 1928 - 2012 BELCHERTOWN - Mary E. Nagle, 84, of Chauncey Walker Street, died on August 31, 2012 in Hanover Hill Nursing Home in Manchester, NH. She was born August 11, 1928 in Boston, daughter of the late Patrick J. and Margaret (Casey) Nagle. She was raised in Thorndike and also lived in Ludlow before moving to Belchertown in the early 90's. Mary retired from National Grid as an accountant after working for over 30 years. Mary was very active with the Democratic Party and loved politics. She was an avid Red Sox's fan, loved to travel and take cruises. She is survived by four cousins, Eleanor Girouard and Mary Charles both of Manchester, NH, Michael Nagle of S. Carolina and AnnMarie Callahan of Haverhill, MA. She also leaves many extended family members and friends. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. to follow to a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 04, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.
