BOILING -->Mary Ellen Pruitt BOILING SPRINGS, SC-- Mary Ellen Pruitt, 75, of 463 Sandpiper Drive, Boiling Springs, SC, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Regional Hospice House. She was the wife of Robert L. Pruitt. Mrs. Pruitt was a native of Fingerville and a daughter of the late Joseph Smith and Minnie Lindsey Avery. She was a retired seamstress with S & S Manufacturing and also worked for a number of years with Wal-Mart. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters and sons in law, Kathy and Kenneth Wilkie of Inman, Judy and Jack Wilson of Inman, and Wanda and Len Caldwell of Boiling Springs; a brother, James Smith of Chesnee; grandchildren, David Wilkie, Mark Coates, Amy Brown, Casey Botkin and Abbey Sears. Eight great grandchildren also survive her. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Monday, June 2, 2008 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Terry McMillen. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will be at the home.
