Smith and Sons Funeral Home with interment to follow in East Laurel Cemetery.Mrs. Williams passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at her residence in Beech Bluff.Martha was born on December 5, 1951, the daughter of J.A. and Willie Mae Graham of Beech Bluff, TN. She graduated from Beech Bluff High School in 1969.Martha worked for the Jackson-Madison County School System as the cafeteria manager at Beech Bluff Elementary School for 17 years. She cared deeply for the children at the school and gave all of herself back to the community where she was born and raised. The impact that she had on these children's lives will be sorely missed. Her huge heart was also extended to her animals. She cared for them as much as she did her own children.Martha's priority was family. Every decision she ever made was to ensure that her children and grandchildren could have better lives. Every day was dedicated to this mission. Her children and grandchildren will forever be grateful for the sacrifices she made. Her legacy will be carried out through their lives.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Edward B. Graham, Robert Walter Graham, James Ray Graham, and Joseph Albert Graham, Jr.Martha is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Thomas Edward Williams of Beech Blufff; two sons, David E. Williams (Jennifer) and Michael Edward Williams (Jamie); daughter, Amanda Gail Williams (fianc&#233; Kerry); three grandsons, Charles Nathan Payne, John Thomas Williams, and Thomas Edward Williams; granddaughter, Gwyneth Ann Williams; two sisters, Sarah Imogene Price and Virginia Ruth Alexander.Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday evening, May 28, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
