Leila Pruitt Williams SPARTANBURG, SC-- Leila Pruitt Williams, 87, formerly of Shoresbrook Road, Spartanburg, went to be with the Lord, Monday, May 23, 2011, at Magnolia Manor-Inman. Born November 28, 1923, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Mary Crowder Pruitt, and wife of the late D. E. "Buck" Williams. Leila retired after 10 years with Burger King. She accepted the Lord into her heart in 2010. Survivors include her daughter, Wanda (Randy) McGarity of Campobello; nine grandchildren, one whom she raised, Stephanie Weathers of Pacolet; sixteen great-grandchildren; and her sister, Eva Faulkner of Roebuck. She was predeceased by her daughters, Lukeva Wyatt and Lynda Morrow; son, Butch Williams; a sister, Marie Jones; brothers, Alonzo, Coin, William, and Norman Pruitt. Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of SC, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
