Joyce Catherine Nelson, 61, of Campbellsville, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at her residence.Daughter of the late George Calvin and Theresa Lampkin Lewis, she was born June 5, 1953, in Clarksville, Ind.She was an employee of Grandview Nursing and Rehab Center in Campbellsville.She was married to Gary Keith Nelson. He preceded her in death.Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Perkins (Matt) of Knifley, Ky.; a son, Timmie Nelson of Campbellsville; four sisters, Betty Smith (Bradley) of Harrodsburg, Ky., Jeannie Whitlock (Ronnie) of Fairfield, Ky., Penny Warner (Terry) of Mackville, Ky., and Debbie Worford (Dwight) of Chaplin, Ky.; and a grandson, Caydin Perkins.Funeral is today, Monday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. at Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Ky. Bro. Shaun Caudill will officiate.Interment will follow in Highview Cemetery at Chaplin.The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Green River.
