John Daniel “Buddy” Bryant died July 12, 2003. He was born Feb. 7, 1947, in Decatur to John Daniel “JD” Bryant and Irman Baker Bryant. Buddy lived most of his life in Decatur and worked for Decatur Workshop and Developmental Center. He relocated to Akron, Ohio, and attended the United Disabilities Workshop until his health began to fail.He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memories four brothers, Earl (Autherine) Hill of San Antonio, John Thomas (Delores) Bryant of Oklahoma City, William Mack Byrant of Nebraska and Henry Lewis Bryant of Athens; eight sisters, Edith (Wayman) Seabon of Warrensville Heights, Ohio, Elizabeth (Charles) Pope of Rayle, Ga., Dolly Mosley of Decatur, Gladys (Willie) Paige of Cleveland, Erma Sue Bryant of Decatur, Margaret (George) Arthur of Akron, Ohio, Emma Kate (Eddie) Calloway of Gadsden and Juanita (Edward) Crockett of Cleveland; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 19, 2003, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3806 State Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Family visitation at 1:30 p.m. Services at 2 p.m. F.J. Corrigan Funeral Home of Orange Village, Ohio directing.
