JANET OWEN Janet Owen, 67 of Sebring, Florida, died Sunday, July 20, 2008. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and has resided in Sebring for the past 26 years, coming from Tennessee. A member of First Baptist Church, Sebring. Jan and her late husband, Dr. David H. Owen enjoyed their award winning Christmas decorations and all the joy it brought to all. She was preceded in death by her husband, David and her mother, Lillian Sheridan. Jan is survived by her loving children, Dr. Ronald L. (Nancy) Owen, and grandchildren, Christopher, Nikki and Kady all of Sebring, David W. (Grace) Owen, Lakeland, Fla., Judy L. (Robert) Brock, Washington, D.C., David H. Owen, Jr., and grandson, Nicholas, Gainesville, Fla.; sister, Dorothy (Ray) Peters, Sebring; and special friends, Ron and Arlene Karpf. The family will receive friends, 5:30-7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Morris Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Dr. James Henry officiating.
