McGhee, 55, a lifelong resident of Dover Plains, NY, died on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Georgia was the store manager of the Berkshire Shop in Dover Plains, NY for many years, and later worked as a secretary at the Upton Lake Christian School in Clinton Corners, NY. Born on January 17, 1958 in Sharon, CT, she was the daughter of the late Malichi and Florence (Marshall) McGhee. She was a 1976 graduate of Dover High School. She was a member of the J. H. Ketcham Hose Company Auxiliary in Dover Plains and the Clinton Corners Evangelical Free Church in Clinton Corners, NY. Georgia is survived by her son, Malichi McGhee of Dover Plains, NY and two brothers, William McGhee and his wife, Lisa, of Wingdale, NY and David Marshall and his wife, Judy, of Dover Plains, NY. Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Amenia Island Cemetery, Route 44, Amenia, NY. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Clinton Corners Evangelical Free Church, 20 Shepherds Way, Clinton Corners, NY.
