Frances McCoy Lee, 87, widow of Cecil James Lee, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital. Born August 30, 1919, in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late George Brown and Lydia Shultz McCoy. Mrs. Lee was a retired bookkeeper with C. Dan Joyner Insurance, and was a member of The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour. Surviving are sons, George Lee and his wife Mary, Jim Lee and his wife Bobbie, all of Greenville; a grandson, James Richard Lee and wife, Carol of King George, Virginia; stepgrandson, Todd Scott and wife Lesley; stepgranddaughter, Julie Jones; and six stepgreat-grandchildren; a beloved niece, Carol Clark of Houston; sister, Jessie Smith of Columbia; and brother, Reuben McCoy of Anderson.Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 2600 Wade Hampton Blvd. Visitation will be held before the service, starting at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
